We made a rectangular pit for access to a pump on a pipeline 3 main pours 10ft high walls a cap on top that was over 2 ft thick. We had to install floor Joyce’s at the top of each tear to ensure walls wouldn’t collapse, and we also did all the back fill and water proofing with foundation. Installed a steel ladder top to bottom with landings at each level, also an opening in the middle of the floors with a winch system to allow service for the pump.
